Artist statement:
The artist I got my inspiration from was K.R whitley. He has a collection called urbana where he takes black and white pictures in abandoned places. Since I couldn't get to dark places like that I took pictures of skylines and made them black and white.
I like your first draft alot! The black and white contrasts really well with the sky. Great job with the angles Jackson.
ReplyDeleteI really like your transition to skylines. Your camera work when taking these photos are really good. Maybe for some of your photos the contrast could be bumped up a bit. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteI like these a lot, they are simple and abstract at the same time. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteOOh la la! the black and white theme is slaying, i love the simplicity and focus of your work. I can tell you did not rush these. keep it uppppp
ReplyDeleteJackson, you did a really good job creating a portfolio of images relating to the skyline. It was really interesting how you were able to use some of the ideas that we studied this year such as diagonals and a line leading to the subject in your photos. I don't have any suggests for you. Goob job this week.
ReplyDeleteHi Jackson. Your goal for black and white and meeting your artists criteria for a sky line meets your goals. Keep up the great work.
