nature 1

Artist statement:
For my winter project I'm taking pictures of nature especially plants like flowers and trees. My strategy is take pictures of flowers close up so that they take up most of the frame. For trees stand either right under them or close the them so it takes up the whole frame and makes it seem like there are multiple plants and trees there.

Double exposure

For double exposure I took two pictures then faded one into another or mirrored the picture with different filters.

Slo-mo 2

For slow motion I school the camera violently before it had time to focus. I took the majority of the pictures of a hand dryer because of the colors.

Slo-mo 1

artist statement:

This week for slo-mo/motion blur what I did was just shake the camera around that it couldn't focus to get the motion blur and did the same with the lights, trying to  find ways to create different shapes with the lines, but for ones took a picture that was just dark and added stickers.

Reflections

Artist Statement:

This week we were focusing on reflections. To find good reflections I looked at and took pictures of, store windows, car windows and windshields, puddles and my phone. For editing reflections mainly look good in black and white, for the photos of the puddles I edited the water to be blue so the puddles would be distinct and not black and white like the rest of the picture.

      collages

      Artist statement:

For the collages I took mostly had and tried to find pictures that were semi similar to each other and work well together side by side, like the two photos that are upside down/tilted go together.

      Portfolio

      Artist statement:
For my portfolio out of the 8 pictures I had 6 of them were from my own theme, the black and white city skylines and then two of my favorite pictures I took this year, one of a sad looking dog in the window and another of kevin posing strangely.
