Composition 3

Artist statement:
This week the three kinds of photographs we had to take were leading lines to a subject which is where we have a line or two acting as kind of a guide up to a person or object for the subject. The second was arrangement of lines which were pictures where the lines were the main focus of the picture. The last of the three were decorative lines which are is you removed the lines in the picture the item in the center or focus would still be there.

This week the three styles we did were Depth staging, leading lines, and repetition. The goal with depth staging is having two things in the frame, one closer to the camera and the other is farther away, so you get the sense of depth and distance between the few. Leading lines is taking lines and having sort of a sense of depth and the lines lead into the distance. The goal for repetition is to have one thing that is repeating is your main focus, and theres another sense of depth in this the the thing that is repeating leads off.

composition

This week the three kinds of pictures we had to take were, triangle, rule of thirds, and diagonal. Diagonal was the easiest, just turn you camera sideways or there is a rotate option in the photo editor. Triangle was the hardest but you just have to find triangles that fit the picture scale. And for rule of thirds I for the most part took pictures of people.
